I finally got around to trying something new, I think itll be a great thing for the FI community.
We will be back-to-back dynoing this manifold on this car compared with a regular Mini to asses any differences in performance.
The use of an internal wastegated turbo rules out any anomalies that may occur during testing with the use of an external wastegate. This way JUST the manifold is tested.
Projected performance should be smoother power curves than the standard Mini, with slightly longer spool, and more top-end performance(due to tuned equal length runners).

It was great seeing Cody in action, the manifold looks fantastic and should preform wonderfully. I'll post up more thoughts on it after my first drive on Wednesday

 

will there be an a/c and PS compatible version?

Looks good Cody. What's up with the monster welds on some of the manifolds recently? This one looks good, but i've tuned a couple cars with your manifolds and it looks like you used about 5 filler rods per weld! lol
