Std to Si Gauge Cluster Swap problem.
I have a 1990 civic Std. I purchased a 1990 crx si gauge cluster from ebay. When I went to do the swap I noticed that the Std cluster has an opaque plastic bracket on the back that holds a small circuit board and has 2 wire leads coming off of it. There is a small blue plug that attaches to this circuit board.
The crx cluster has no such plastic bracket. I gave the cluster a try without hooking up the blue plug and Everything works except for my tach and highbeam light indicator (havent check fuel and temp gauge yet). Did I get ahold of a bad cluster or am I electrically challeneged?

hook that circut board up and just leave it hanging behind the dash. Use some electrical tape to insulate it so no electronic pieces come in contact with metal/other pieces.
High beam indicator is probably a burned out light bulb.
