hf to si conversion

Default hf to si conversion

ok, so i've done the mpfi conv. on my dx. a buddy of mine wants to deef up his hf. being that the hf's already wired fo the si intake mani, all i have to do swap intakes, ecu's, and dizzy's,,,,,right? is there anything else that has to be done???? thanks.

From my very limited knowlede..you are better off doing the A6
engine/tranny swap out. What alse can be done that will give you and instant
40-50 hp gain!! for minimal $$$ spent. If you do a search you will find
most of the answers you need.

the hf motor is made completely different, its got 8 valves, and it has a totally different cam, and the transmission is geared all wrong for power.

so you'd want to change out the engine and transmission.
