97 accord sedan brake fuse location?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the location of the brake fuse for a 97 accord sedan lx, I have been looking all day and didn't find it. If anyone could tell me where it is that would be great.

I'm not sure what you mean about the "brake fuse", brakes are controlled manually in the 97 wagon. All you have are:
Front Brakes
Master Cylinder
Brake Booster
Brake Hoses/Lines
Brake Pedal
Parking Brake
Parking Break Cable
Rear Disc/Drum Brakes
Nothing is being sent to the PCM, so a fuse is not necessary.
If you are talking about ABS then the fuse box for that is right below the Larger fuse box near the upper passenger corner under the hood.
There is a 20Amp fuse, and 15Amp fuse, 10Amp Fuse, 40 Amp fuse and An ABS Pump Motor Relay in that box. They should all be labeled well enough to see....
Or did you mean the break light fuse? Because that one is Fuse #30 (White/Yellow) and 20 Amps. So if you stand on the passenger side fender, take off the fuse box cover and look, it'll be the White/Yellow furthest to the right labeled "20" located on the second row of fuses from the top.

Yeah, that one controls the fuse for the horn, brake lights, and key interlock solenoid (for Auto). So take it out and try honking the horn...if it doesn't honk, then you have the right one. It says it pretty clearly on the fuse box there also....

thanks all of you. The brake horn and key interlock share the same fuse. So inturn if the horn does honk then it isn't the fuse it has to be the switch. And it seems like to replace the switch i will have to drop the steering wheel? does anyone know how long it takes to replace the brake switch.
