on my beater - 90 Civic EX - im throwing a code 4 and 17, and when these codes come on my car loses power and only revs to 3k.....any advice on fixing this would be greatly appriciated, thank you

4 = crank angle sensor
17 = vehicle speed sensor
did it just start doing this on it's own?

 

yes, it was driving fine the other day then friday it started doing it, it had done it b4, but went away, now it wont go away, i know the VSS is cause my speedo dont work, its just the other that im worried about

 

buy a new speedo cable and swap out the dizzy

 

so just gettin a new speedo cable will fix the fact my speedo doesnt work?
