Whats the safest maximum boost can a stock type-S motor handle

 

Ohhh i think 20 psi's should be ok.

Check clubrsx.com's turbo forums. Plenty of people are running well over 10psi on the stock block... it all comes down to the tune

 

u shouldn't use two conflicting words in the same sentence

SAFE and MAXIMUM.

safest boost is 0psi
maximum boost is...the one that'll blow the engine blows up instantly.

 

I was running 7.5 psi, it was running great, but ................

 

many people on CRSX with any kit run about 11 psi on stock internals for race settings, and many run about 8-9 daily driven. some kid has done 14, but others barely go to 12 even with race gas. it all comes down to how well your car is tuned.
