from what I hear from a turbo camaro guy around here with the same turbo placement setup said...their really isnt no lag on it
i bet that is a gutted hatch and a lot of power

i'm not surprized at all. a guy here in MN with a hatch w/2.0 ITR motor making 500~550whp ran my buddy with a 650whp ecipse....the hatch pulled the eclipse on every pull.

Camaros are weird. My roommate has one camaro with 650whp and it runs an 11.20 and another camero with 420whp that runs a 10.80.</TD></TR></TABLE>
420whp and a 10.80? That is pretty much impossible unless the Camaro lost lots and lots of weight and had slicks, short gears, and a good posi. Camaros are heavy. Most weigh 3200-3500 lb. and with 400whp you should be running low 12's, maybe a high 11.

The only people who say that are the ones that have never driven a conventionally mounted turbo setup.

Better power curve is a conventional T70 @ 14 psi. Worse power curve is an STS T70 @ 14 psi. Conventional setup had some spark blowout and that's why it wasn't going as high. Gains at some points are over 100 RWTQ with the front mount setup. Yeah, the STS kits are pretty good alright
Front mount numbers are SAE, STS kit numbers are actual and with cold temps, so the difference would be even greater SAE to SAE.
