Default 2000 Honda Accord stiff tranny

My Accord's transmission recently become too stiff and not smooth (unless the gear changed at high RPM like 3400 or more, the previous owner race this car a lot). Is this sign of tranny swap or just tranny's oil need to be changed or something else?

I just bought this car last month as a Certified Used Hondas but I found out more than 10 problems in this car and some of these problems has been solved and fixed. I can't imagine what will happen if I buy the non-certified cars from that dealer

Probably the tranny is on it's way out. 2000-2001 is not a very strong year for accord automatic transmissions.

Pull the tranny dipstick and check the fluid.

I should've done that but the dealer is 70 miles away from home (not really a big deal) and I don't like the people in there, I was so pissed when I realize that they didn't even have the master key for this car (I used a valet key, but they decide to made me the master key after I begged for it), no carfax (they promised me earliers), cracked windshield, and some others. I'm just trying to stay away from them for a while.

Do you think this can be done at another Honda Dealers? I have Extended (bumper to bumper) Honda Care warranty plan (expired 100K or 2007, now it has 74K) and will they cover this mess?

any Honda dealer will take care of it. If that dealer sucks dont go back, because if you get work done and something is not covered then you have to pay it, I wouldn't want to give them any money
