Hey. Im pretty new to engine ****. I know a little bit. But ever since i bought this 92 civic DX i never knew exactly what type of engine i got. All i know, is that its a ZC Motor which from what i know is a 1.6L Non-Vtec 130Hp.

When my distributor fucked up, i went to a place and asked for a ZC distributor which i belive is a OBO-1. And when they handed it over, i noticed that it wasn't like mine at all. Then i told him that wasn't it, and i think he gave me a distributor that was for an Si. Anyway, that worked. So now i have no clue what my motor is exactly, except for that " ZC " sign on the block.

Im trying to buy a head gasket, and i got no clue which to order. Can you please help me out?

well is your motor a dohc or a sohc that would be alot of help if it is the dohc than you can use the 88-89 integra head gasket the engine code is d16a1 or i think you might be able to get away with the 88-91 d16a6 the civic/crx si one. the mods you would haveto do wou;d be were the head bolts line up you might need to make them a little bit bigger bit i would spend the money and get the right one. good luck also i have the distributor that you need for you car so let me know if you need it. good luck.

 

Thanks for the help. I got some information, and found someone that has the gasket for the ZC which also fits other D15 engines.
