Great racing from day 1, delayed by some rain (understatement). There should be a 23 car field tomorrow, and hopefully a standing start
. Some new comers making their presence felt amongst the old guard. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and warmer, so times should be faster

Kevin Helms set the fastest lap today (1.49711) also started in the back of the pack and ended up 3rd, unfortunately Adam Curpier lost a motor due a camshaft with split personality which looks to have cracked the block. Adam pulled off the track in a great move so that the race could continue with out any yellow flag, Pete Curpier finished 4th I think, unfortunately 61 (Lockwood) and 11 (Todd Reid) made contact and swapped spots in the final rankings as the great guy Todd is, admitted to contact before confronted by race control. 86 (David Harrison) also lost a motor on the 8th lap...
1 Chad Slagg (01)
2 Scott Burner (30)
3 Kevin Helms (05)
To all is was a great race

H5) Both days had some very fun looking fights in H5 between Rubin and Harrison (and Kim was up there for a while on Saturday's race before falling back a bit mid-race). Harrison's car pulled off on the front straight about 3/4 of the way into Sunday's race with a big plume of smoke coming out from under the hood.
H4) Alex [Hracer] pretty much walked off and kept his toys to himself. Unofficial lap time for Alex in H4 was a 1:54.4x. Karl Kondor and Michael Stoiber had a great fight going on for P2 in H4 and Michael got him at the last on Saturday - Sunday neither drove but Karl's car had a second driver (cannot recall how he finished).
H3) Zsolt pretty much had the H3 field under his belt but unfortunately didn't have enough balast in the car today (he started at the back for Sunday's race due to weight). There were 2 other H3 cars there Saturday, only the Curpier Prelude (Springler I believe) however on Sunday as the other Integra did not run.
H2) Unfortunately, not much to see here - just Allan waiting around for some other H2 folks to get off their driver suited butts to play with him. Allan (TrackRat) and Alex (Hracer) had a great run at the end of the race (last 3 or 4 laps) and finished what I could only assume 1 or 2 tenths apart (nice photo opp
). Now where can I get a salvage CL-S on the cheap (they still in H2?)??
H1) Chad won the race but the show was Kevin Helms with a red and silver can of whip-***. He, [Kevin] was just plain fun to watch on Sunday, I don't know any other description. He also started at the back w/ Zsolt and worked his way up to P3 I believe (behind Slagg and Bruner who finished 1,2 if memory serves). Sam Lockwood was running P4 and was helped off the track and lightly into the tires off of turn 1 about midway through the race - he rejoined around P7-8 overall, want to say behind the TrackRat/Hracer spots. He managed to climb back up and I want to say he got around Drabouski (6ghatch ?) by the finish. Chad had by the end a pretty nice gap and ran a consistent race for the win in H1.
Certainly look forward to seeing a few of you guys on grid at some point, just through a window net next time

That breaks the old H4 track record at CMP which Lyonel held from last year. Lyonel and I both qualified in the 54's but I think only the race times count. I think Lyonel had a 1:55.1 or thereabouts in last years race.
Way to go Alex
When you are you going to make the long haul to Summit ?

Jon (who wishes he had been a part of the fun but had to do garden work this weekend

Chad's installation of the K20 is impressive.
Has me seriously thinking of replacing my oil puking B18C5 with one this winter and joining the H1 fracus. H1 and reliable
