will a JDM cable tranny work on a 91 CRX Si (D16A6)???? thanks guys, i searched but all i found were gear ratios and other stuff....

please help!!

ya, and just make sure the clutch disc matches the imput shaft on the d15 tranny.

As long as its cable it should work. But are u sure the tranny is cable, cus the JDM D15 vtec came in the EG's which had hydro tranny's. Unless ur not talkin bout the JDm D15b vtec, in which case its game on.

my friend works at a JDM engine place and he called me up and told me they got a JDM d15 cable tranny, sorry i wrote VTEC...i dont think its a vtec tranny... ...but if its the cable tranny, which clutch and flywheel should i use??...and axles btw!....thanks a lot homies!!

if its an 88, use an 88 clutch and flywheel. if its an 89-90, you can use 89-90 clutches and flywheels, but 89 is a different size clutch than 90-91.

basically, what i'm saying is if the tranny is out of an 88, you have to get an 88 clutch and flywheel, or i believe theres an old prelude one that will go into your 91 flywheel.

make sure it's not a hydro. as stated the d15b does not have a cable trans.. also mind bagpipes clutch advice. also make sure it's not the 4speed from a d15b2.
