Default GSR tranny rebuild?

I have a stock 92 DX hatch and may put in a b18. A friend recently offered me a 95 GSR tranny that he says has no 2nd, 3rd or 4th gears. It's never been taken apart and he wants 50 dollars for it. Does this sound rebuildable? The car it came from was in a nasty wreck and was purchased from an auction. Should I get this tranny in case I go B series in my car? A local said he would rebuild it for 150 plus parts. Thanks.

**** bro for $50 you can't go wrong. Anything is rebuildable. I work for Acura and the housing parts new are big money, like $300-$350 each employee costs. I would buy it, split the trans and go from there. I have a cable LS trans I blew a hole in the trans housing I'm saving for internal parts. I would buy it though. **** if you don't let me know where it is.

hell yeah i'd buy it. i put one of my rebuild sets into it, or maybe just a few parts to get it rolling and sell it. i think it'd rebuild it and sell for like $750 or $800 w/ 0 miles and garauntee no grinds.
