Default Base model to a Type S "exhast system"

just wondering if the base model can fit a cat back made for the type S model.
"not for my car " so i wouldnt know anything about it.

yes you can. i have an 05 type s catback on my 03 base. I had a shop do it for 50 bucks. They had to extend it about 5 inches, expand it for the increased diameter, and rotate the flange. Thats what the "adapter" is.

I'm in the process kinda. Get a type s race/regular (NOT SHORTY) header first. The b-pipe for the base is too long and wont meet up, so get someone to cut ur b-pipe and re-weld it. (Stoney at velocity did mine) anyway, just get a universal muffler from there and have custom piping. exhaust systems should be alright... but im not sure based off of the angle the flange was at on my race header. I'll take pics maybe tomorrow.

as you may have gathered, if you want it to bolt right up, you need a type s manifold and cat as well(or a race header) i ran a jackson race header with type s catback for a while

what made you change your setup and what did you change to? i remember talkin to you about it a while back and you said you were dissapointed with jackson race header.

you must be confusing me with someone else, i loved the jackson header. i only wish i had a type s to really get the true gains out of it. i changed back to stock because fear of cops was gettin to me
