Default Ken's Kustom Master Cylinder or others?

Was looking at Ken's Kustom bolt in new MC.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Replace that bulky old master cylinder with Ken's ultra-light weight unit. This is a direct replacement. Remove your old brake booster and bolt this in. All this for only$110</TD></TR></TABLE>

Anyone know of other options too or used this? Wanting to retain stock pedals etc, but only need front brakes to operate. Seemed like just what I was looking for.
Thanks

Used the Kens in a DA. Works like a champ. You may have to drill out the clevis to fit the pedal though. I had to.

I've just finished the install of the Ken's kit on my car. Seems to work well. The clevis has a real tight fit, but nothing a little shaving won't fix. Looking forward to getting her to the track for some real testing other than the driveway rollout.

You need to send that line to a distribution box (spliter, prop. valve) and then run lines to each corner.

Idealy this would be used just for the front brakes, while using a staging handbrake for the rears.

BTW I saw on Ken's site there was a fire. Anyone know anything about how their doing there? That sucks.

Its really terrible what happened to them. I guess they were only able to save a few things from the fire, the rest was lost.

They had an appointment to meet with their insurance man the first part of May to re-adjust their coverage...I hope they work everything out.

i don't think you can run rear brakes with this setup...so with that said i think daily driving would suck ***

i'm not sure but thats what i'm assuming

I made a thread on this before, n someone said that it wouldn't be a good idea for street driving.

it can be used on the street. It just has a different feel than with a brake booster.

im sure it would be a lot harder to stop since there is no vacuum bringing the pedal down when pressing on the pedal correct?

Unplug your booster line, its really not that bad.

We're prolly going to run this on the racecar soon to to add clearance for our 52mm TWM's. We had to do some creative rerouting of the brake lines to make it clear with the 15/16ths MC that is in there now...

I wouldn't run that on the street though...
