i have a auto dx and i want to do a swap later on. am i better off buying a si then swap in it. which is cheaper n better

Seriously now, the best engine for your honda is WHATEVER YOU CAN AFFORD TO BUY!

If you have $1000, DOHC ZC.
If you have $2000, get a 1st gen b16a. It'll cost that much to get it in.
If you have $4000, get a GSR/B18C1.
If you have $5500, get a ITR/B18C5.
If you have $10K, and no use for your car for a month or two... get a K20.
