Default 99 civic si Jackson racing supercharger problems please help!!!!

I recently installed a jackson racing supercharger on my 1999 civic si and was suprised when i test drove it to find that it was slower then before i put it on. My car is all pretty much stock engine mods wise i only have an aem cold air intake and the supercharger. I was wondering if anyone can give me any idea on why my car would have got slower? Am i not supposed to use cold air intake with it?? Anyone with a similar kit suffer the same problems after install that could help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot and feel free to e-mail me @ Bjesper@charter.net

Did you get the car tuned? I mean are the injectors stock? is the MAP workin? The car is getting a LOT more air rammed down it, so it needs more fuel. Check the ECU. Wait, what are you using for fuel management? And yes, check a boost gauge to see how much PSI its outputting.
