Yea, I would get rid of the JUN ECU asap!

Yeah last I checked the map scalars stopped @ 0.3 PSI

My point was that most aftermarket programs are based on P30 timing maps which run LESS timing than a stock P72 map. P72 is around 29 deg up top and a JUN/Mugen/Skunk2 program typicly runs around 24-25 deg on top. Do your step retard on top of that lower timing and you'll actually find that starting with one of those programs will result in lower overall timing advance than starting with a stock P72 timing map.
But, that's not what everyone was taught on honda-tech... for some reason people believe that these aftermarket chips run lots of timing, but the simple fact is that they do not, I've looked at a ton of them... the only one I've seen that runs a lot of timing is the Erics racing chip.

Cool vid
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that when your using the hack the ECU is NOT reading any boost. By dialing down the fuel setting so much in the AFC the voltage from that MAP the reaches the ECU under low boost is similar to cruise voltage on a non modified car, so the ECU will be reading a cruise timing value (yikes).
