i came up on a large sum of money..i wanted my ls to be doing around 300-350whp wat do i need to do.. and if u have stuff for sale to do that post that too..i have about 2000 bucks is it possiable..?
You meant to say what, not wat.
for your goals you will need to buy forged internals for your motor, a good fuel management system, and do some reading too
. good luck, turbo ls' are fun, i have one

2000 is not possible...unless somehow you get all your parts dirt cheap.
although you could do 300 stock ls....i would recommend forged rods and pistons like the above poster
get a turbo kit or piece together one.....tune it...and turn up the boost

I did it for less that $1800 including the aem ems. check my sig

Then you got some absurd hookups even on used parts, don't expect an average person to do that for 1800.

thats why you pice togther your own kit. you are gonna pay an excess of 3 grand if you buy a kit likethe edlebrock or greddy kit. so just buy parts as you go. youdont have to buy them all at the same time.but for top quality parts. 2 grand will but you a decent manifold, dp, turbo, IC piping, exhaust piping, and muffler. oh and if you are gonna run high boost, go with a 3" exhaust.

alright then how many hp should i be hoping for.. with 2000 bucks.. i do want a reliable engine too.. so i dont wanna do it half assed.. ne one got forged internals for sale..?
just search around and you can piece together a okay kit...buy some used parts and new parts if you need...thats what i did...i been piecing together my kit for the last 2months...i have almost everything but oil feed/return...i have spent around 1400...but for 300hp you might want some internals though and that will make it cost over 2 Gs...you can piece together a nice turbo kit though for 2 Gs and get close to 3000...just do the turbo now and upgrade internals later to reach your goal...the stuff i got so far is below
turbonetics t3/t04 (used)
drag mani(used...i will upgrade this later)
tial 38mm wastegate(new from camp1320)
Greddy S BOV(used)
JRC new style 6 inch(new from johnnyracecar.com)
spoolinperformance ic pipes(new from phil)
rc 550cc(new)
2in that flares to 3in dp with flex(used)
dumptube(used)
autometer carbon fiber gauges, a/f and boost(new)
i think thats it for now...going on a stock gsr gonna be uberdata tuned...its my first turbo setup so i guess its good enough for now...good luck

used parts are great, just make sure they are in good condition. and do tune with uberdata....hondata just isnt worth the money when uberdata is (practically free), unless u already have a ship burner, and once u get the hang of tuning, then u charge ur friends to tune their vehicles, and make the money u put into thechip burner back

For 2000 dollars you would be lucky to get forged internals installed with no other mods. Save more money if you don't want to do a "half assed" turbo kit.

yup uberdata is free and works great...and basically the same thing as hondata...one of my friends is doing it for me for free!...dont charge your friends mann you guys suppose to help eachother out

ok...so if all that costs 2k.....then you cant have a reliable set up...
you forgot to mention a new clutch b/c his stock one will pretty much die at 300 whp...engine management, gauges, bigger injectors
theres probably other stuff but i cant think of it all...you need to keep in mind all the misellaneous parts you will need.
on top of all that....i still wouldnt push a internaly stock ls at 300 whp daily...
so you would need to get forged internals as well

There is no way in hell he going to have a turbo set-up, clutch, a good fuel system for 2000. Even with uberdata, he need to socket the ecu, buy a chip burner and a wideband. and another thing is does he know how to tune? if he asking this question then im guessing that he is not familiar with tuning. also once you got the car running with a turbo set-up, it WILL have problem, there is not one person that i know or see put together a kit and not run into some problem unless they perfectly plan everything out and do it the right way the first time.
