Default Question about ruling for in car cameras?

I wanted to start doing some in car footage at the track this year. I was wondering if the techs give **** if they see cameras inside?
I am unsure of a real good mount too?
Right now as a test fit i opened my tripod and jammed it into the back seat and put the seatbelts in the back tightly around it and it doesnt budge.

You think they will give me **** in the pits if they see this?
If not anyone have any good ideas on mounts? I could prob make some kind of bar in the back and mount it to that, but i wanted to check and see if this will fly 1st

Im guessing you don't have a cage then.......the best I have seen without one is to make a clamp type assembly trough the headrest

What about a suction cup style mount on the inside of the rear windshield?

No clue. Some of the suction mounts can hold up to 50 lbs though and look pretty sturdy.

Duct tape?

I am pretty sure they will want it secured somehow where it wont be a projectile in an accident.
