Built B16 people: Did you bore your motor out or just keep the stock bore?
Just curious if you built boosted b16 people bored out your motor or if you just kept the stock bore? and if you did bore it out do you think it was worth the money? wondering if i will get alot more torque than if i dont bore it out. let me know, thanks
do you have dyno's showing numbers thast high? I don't think it's worth that much...unless you are talking about 300-400lb ft motors.....
get erl to do your motor
put a gsr crank in it and the have a deckplate to make the block higher or whatnot
84mm with deckplace almost a 2.0 b16a i believe

It's worth a lot of mid range, Jeff says around 20 ft-lbs, so i'd guess it's around the same on a B16.
IMHO with a B16 it's worth it to go 84mm, but if I were building a B18-based motor i'd just stick to 81.5mm for safety's sake.

The difference between 81 and 81.5mm is a grand total of 19.76 cubic centimeters, or about 1.2 cubic inches. That's not a big enough difference for you to notice any change in power.
Stock sleeves and turbo = 81.5mm. Boost puts to much stress on the sleeves to go any bigger. The main reason for the .5mm overbore is to clean up the surface and make sure the sleeve is round.
