If it is cheap, buy it then bring it here and we'll fix it.

Test-drive it. If it seems fixable, try it for $2000.

Get his story about the car...if he doesn't know what he is talking about...bargain him down...it probably is something you can fix if it is just the idle problem...drive that ish and then you will be able to tell what is going on with it...good luck

4500 is way high.if you know anything about cars.tell him to loosen the throttle cable down or actually turn the idle screw down just to see whats up

ps i don't think a cat is gonna do that either

theres a good chance he doent know to much about it so you could proabably get it down to 1500. and 4500 is WAY to high for an idle man. Thats kinda sketch. good luck in getting this car, I hope you get a good price

thanks for all the help guys. Yea i was thinking about the TB and the throttle cable.. there might be somthing there because 4500 is way too high like you guys said. i might try 1700 cash the way it is.. one of my friends told me it might be a vacume line or somthing. im pretty sure its not the cat, so this guy doesnt know what hes doing, thats why im going to offer 1700

again thanks for all the help guys
