zc distributor help - square plug-round plug conversion
Hello,
Ok, i searched and could not find the answer, so if its out htere please dont flame me. I have a 91 crx with a zc swap, my tdc sensor in the distributer took a dump so i got another one off ebay. Both distributors are stamped 03u, zc is obd0. Car and old distributor have a round 5 pin plug, the new distributor has a square 5 pin plug. I cut the round plug off my bad distributor and was going to splice it to the square on the new distributor, do the wires line up pin for pin or is there some that need to be switched?

someone swapped the HF/Si connector onto the distributor - most people swap the plug on the engine harness side so if they ever need to change distributors, it will plug right in - works either way - just match the wire colors on both sides of the connector, assuming the distributor wires are the same color as wires in the engine harness - some aren't, in which case you will need to determine which wires match
