First off, I'd like to thank Alexander for this lovely hat. It's a perfect fishing hat for me. The day I got it I just had to go fishing, so I went to the lake sporting the ITR hat. Here are some pics:

First off, the hat.


Next, we have my second favorite fishing buddy.


The objective: To catch bass.. so I decided to give this way over-sized lure a try, not expecting much.

Well, the ITR hat seemed to bring me some luck.. after 5 minutes of fishing I reeled in this 4lb bass.

Finally, after a long day of fishing it was time for a lil snack. Fresh is the best!
(No, I didn't actually eat it like that. I was removing the scales)

Wow, nice catch. I seriously thought you were trying some wierd JDM sushi technique that I did not know about, when I saw the last picture. Looks like you had a great time, I am quite jealous. I have not had time to go fishing in so long. Now I am just bitter about not fishing anymore. Thanks.

heck yea thats what im sayin! i buy the crap out of rapala's!!............. nice catch too! pretty good sized bass..... my record is a 8lb big mouth so far and i must say that was FUN!! i love catchin a nice bass

I live in Pennsylvania. I have let most of the bass I caught go. This one, I decided to keep due to its size and that it was male. If it were female, I would let it back to keep up a good bass population

I remember when you could pull 3-pounders out of the hot side of Lake Anna all spring with lures like that as long as they weren't bedding.

The tournaments have seriously over-fished the hot side now, though, and although there are still a lot of big bass in there, they're all huge very smart Florida hybrids that just stay twelve feet down staring up at the idiots in the boat.

These days, you have to get into smelly goo and fancy worm tricks just to get their interest.

(Sigh.) The good old days.
