ok guys im slowly starting my all motor project here, i have an ls in the car right now, but im thinking of swapping my ls block for a b20 block, can i still use my ls head and what will me stock power output look like so i have a base to go off of? i was thinking i should retain my stock hp rating of 142 but torque would be more like the b20 at 130-135. does this sound about right? and what would my compression ratio look like?

 

yes u can use head, torque will be a lil higher but you wont gain much hp, they are pretty much same heads jus minor differences.

 

Except for the fact that the cams are different and the intake manifold is COMPLETELY different.

yes it will work and the LS IM is better. With the LS head you will gain a lil compression since you are putting a 81mm chamber head on a 84mm bore block.

Is your head a P75 or PR4?
