Default si tranny vs. type r tranny all motor

i know that si trannys are better for boosting while type r trannys are better for all motor but i've been looking around and cant find the final drive ratio's for these to see how big of a difference they are. i already have a 2000 b16a tranny cause i was planning on going eg and boosting it but i fell in love with the ef and now im planning on going all motor in an ef so how big of a differenc would it make if i kept the b16 tranny vs the type r tranny for all motor...should i sell the b16 and pay all the extra money just to go with the type r or should i stick with the b16. by the way i have a b17 that i am going to be using for this so please give me feed back...thanks

Depends what Type R you're talking about.
USDM Type R, B16 hydro, and CTR all have the same ratios even final drive. 4.40
The 4.785 Type R trans is only the JDM Type R not USDM.
The JDM Type R trans has B16&GSR ratios which helps bring the over all ratio for 5th back to a normal speed

98+ JDM ITR has the 4.785 and the 4/5th gear are GSR gears.
pre98 JDM ITR is 4.4 and same as USDM ITR gearing
USDM ITR and 99-00 SI Trans are the same gearing and FD of 4.4... only difference is the LSD.

Also another thing to note is that the 98spec tranny also has the same 4th and 5th gears as a GSR due to the shortness of teh 4.7
edit: splitime beat me to is

type r = lsd. which means more power to the ground instead of spinning (one tire) and that =
