Some one Ghetto rigged This swap i need a little help
Hey guys i bought 91 civic DX with a 91 SI motor in it. (d16a6) The motor was pretty much shot so i bought another d16a6 to put in it. While i was dropping the old motor out i realised that everything was wired and taped and sensors were cut and spliced. it was just a mess. I bought a 91 si engine harness for the the new motor for when i put it in.
Everything pluged in ok except for one plug. on the driver side. its the part of the engine harness that plugs in to the other harness that goes to the ECU. those two plugs will not plug in to eachother. So now what? Do i absolutely have to get the harness from the engine bay to the ECU or is there a simpler cheaper way around this. Thanks guys

Good way of doing it, but what you needed was a NEW DX engine harness. You plug that into the main harness and from there you connect everything except distributor and injector wiring. From that point redo the MPFI wiring into the main harness and call it a day.
YOU ARE FUCKED
well not really.
I had a **** harness and its been ******* me for ages.
It'll take some work but you can get it done and running fine.
Dr. Latino is right just get a DX harness start over again, thats what i'm doing and i'm nearly running.
