4 Piston caliper upgrade news...
Since I redesigned the adapter brackets for the 11" kit on the Integra, it turns out the same bracket will allow the fitment of the same 4 piston calipers to the ITR using the stock rotors. So now you can BOLT ON the 4 piston calipers. Price for the adapter kit and calipers is less than $475.
Who needs Spoon calipers anyway?

Just out of curiosity...is the removal of the heat shield ("behind" the rotors) necessary to run these Wilwood Calipers (or the Spoons for that matter)?
Thanks...

and the wilwood Superlite IIA's looks damn sweet anyway. the casting rough look gives a race part look, i like it better than the billets.

.....do these run bigger pads with more area?
Is brake fade simply reduced, or does it decreas stopping distance as well?
.....and what about the rears?

Couple of questions:
1) which pads need to be used?
2) these will fit under the stock wheel, correct?
and the dumbest question for last...
3) will they decrease stopping distance? or just stop fade?
..oh yeah, how much for the 11" rear kit?

Brian has two kits for the cars with 10.3" front brake knuckles. 11" and 11.75" (this is what I have). The 11.75" version uses the cast Superlite IIA caliper which has lower profile to allow 15" wheels to fit. I'm not sure what caliper the 11" version uses but I don't think it is Superlite IIA.

frank, you got mail
...along with that... need lots of pics(call it visual advertising)... I bet Fastbrakes would sell a half dozen or so Superlite IIA kits on this board alone, if there where pictures of the calipers on a ITR... Seems everything Honda related sells better on a R...
Zeus- who wonders what they look like as he opens his wallet to see more than enough green to buy a set or two...

does this mean I can finally get me a better caliper setup?
I am in need for this seasons track events...
I am running the Spoon Big brake conversion...GSR spindles, ITR calipers, 4 lug setup, and redrilled EBC Type R rotors.
and will it fit under a 15 inch rim...Spoon obviously
we need to talk man!!!

Sounds interesting. Now, what kind of master cylinder upgrade is required to make this work? I'm assuming that a stock MC would allow the pedal to go to the floor to fill the pistons...unless they're half the size of stock!
