Default BSP fitting to AN - Help!

Hey guys, could you point me to a company that has BSP fitting adapters? I have a mocal oil cooler with 1/2" BSP male fittings. I would like to get a BSP female to AN adapter. Or even a BSP female to female & BSP male to AN male. Who has them?

Thanks, Mike

I was looking for metric-to-SAE brakeline adapters - or metric T's - and saw that NAPA had BSP parts in their catalog - try them? I didn't pay very close attention but I did comment to the counter guy that I was glad that I didn't have to deal with BSP.

Thanks Guys.

Is the BSP 1/2 & the NPT 1/2 close enough for this application?

They carry the proper BSP to AN fittings you're looking for.

EDIT: Aw crap, I just saw that you need F BSP to M AN. Try calling them, they might be able to track something down for you.

Thanks. Looks promising as they have the most bsp fittings of anyone on the net.

Checked there. Not female to AN. Thanks anyway.

I did find a fitting that might work. It is made by Parker for hydraulic lines. I just got to find someone who sells it.

I still am wondering if I could just substitute a NPT fitting with proper sealing.

You can't stick an NPT in a British hole, but you can put a british fitting in an NPT hole, in a pinch, with a liberal amount of thread sealant. Go figure. The threads are close, but not close enough, hence the one way fudge. I usually get BSPT to NPT converters from McMaster Carr. They sell stainless conversion fittings, then you can just run an AN-NPT adapter which can be bought anywhere for that.
