Default "Emergency" water drain valve for spare tire compartment

I took out the sound deadening tar from my spare tire compartment by applying a bit of crushed dry ice. Amazing how little it took! There is one place that wasn't covered with the rubber sealant at all though, no residue or anything, and now there's a very small punched circle in the bottom of the compartment. I'm thinking rather than sealing it with something, why not try to find a really small valve just in case I get a little rainwater or something down there... It would protect my amps. Even with an inch or two of studdage above the "pan" to keep the amps protected, I really wouldn't want a quarter inch of water to be sloshing around down there if something weird happened. Any ideas of valves that I could use or something that I can make?

I was thinking more valve though. Something small. Like a ball bearing against an O-ring, spring-loaded in a tube partially closed on the ends. Gravity would push the ball bearing down, and the water could slowly trickle out. Something like that because chances are that I wouldn't notice the water until it would slosh around, and by then, it's too late.

just live it open. if any water gets there its most likely from the tail lights.

by living it open, you would have no water accumulating in your wheel well.

and there is no way water/moisture would come up from the bottom, through that hole.
