Default skunk2 pro series coilovers or omni coilovers?

ok, in june i will be purchasing one of these two suspension setups.

which of the two is best for daily driving and occasional autoxing?

ive heard the omni sport's ride fairly rough, so im looking for something stiff, but not too stiff, and also something that can step it up during an autox event.

what would you guys recommend?

this is my daily driven car, and my fiance is surely to whine if its " too stiff ".

ive got a $700 budget, so these are the two products i'm eyeing.

the developer of Omni was from Skunk2...I'm pretty sure they are very similar. So, i don't think it'll matter.

I have the skunk2 pro-series on my em1 coupe. I love it. It's quite stiff even at midly lowered ride height!

The full Skunk2 coilovers AKA Pro-Series has only been out 5 months.

Your mistakened for the Skunk2 sleeve coilovers.

I ride on Omni ITR Street full setups, with about one finger gap between tire and fender and I love em, pretty stiff not that bad for the WA streets i drive on IMO. They hold the road very well, pretty predictable. From what I know the Omni Street are stiffer than the Pro series, so the Sports have to be even more stiffer. I say go with the Omni

I know my skunk2's/KYB AGX's in my EF9 are tolerable...but VERY stiff. I usually run the KYB's at state 2 of 4 to make it easier for aggressive daily driving, and stage 3 when I'm doing mountain runs with the Vortex. Highly impressed with control, not so much in comfortability unless you're into it like me.

NEWSFLASH!! The topic is skunk2 PRO SERIES FULL COILVERS (not the sleeves).

tired of searching for pro series reviews and finding people talking about their sleeves in the wrong thread.

BTW does anyone have any info about their valving? Shock dyno comparison perhaps? Stiffness depends mostly on spring rates, but what about the dampers?

Since both omni and skunk2 have unadjustable dampers, I'd like to know which ones are more aggressive.

YEAH! SO NO MORE REVIEWS ON HOW SKUNK2 IS A GOOD COMPANY THAT PRODUCES SERIOUS AND QUALITY PARTS!

I am also in the process of serching for coilovers and am looking for the exact demands in which you listed. So instead of creating a new fourm I decieded to post here. I only have one quick question the pro series are a direct replacement for both Shock and spring?? am i correct ??

Yeah the Pro Series are a full coilover (spring & matching dampener) setup. I don't think my Omni Streets are that stiff and I roll on 205/40-17's and I live in WA where the roads are pretty shitty most of the time. I've seen stiff, ricer boucing like crazy over every sinlge little imperfection, thats stiff

I have the SK2 Pro Series coilovers on my car and my buddy has some on an 00' si and we are both really happy with them. The ride is pretty stiff but overall i can live with it and its worth the performance to me. I have no problems at auto-x, road racing or drag racing they work perfect for all. I have never felt the Omnis before but anyone i know who bought the skunks love them and havent had one complaint.

Hey fellas. The install was a snap exept for those damn rear Bushings. Beware. Always have an extra set on hand. ill take some pics tomorrow. The sk2's are a lil bouncy, but **** i live in Massachusetts. they handle unbelivable. i was hitting turns and rotary's at close to 87mph with no tire squeal.not to shabby for skunk 2's.
