Damn.
There's a guy who did the same thing here in Omaha. Acura wouldn't cover it.
The guy swore up and down that he didn't misshift.
I don't know the truth myself...it's all hearsay.
yeah a buddy of mine did the same thing - acura made him pay, I just saw him (phil with the 19's
). i guess he fought it and got acura to reimburse him

What shop do you work at? I work at Lanier Honda in buford, GA. We had a 2002 CRV motor(block and head out of the vehicle) cuz it had 54 miles on it, and it was leaking oil bad, we had to replace the rear main seal then everything was back to normal.

Wowsers...
Seems like there are quite a few people having trouble w/ the new 6-speed tranny. I wonder how close together the gates are for him to have missed that badly...

It's not realy a big miss. Thing about it your hauling in 5th, someone pulls out in front of you, you slam on the breaks and down shift to 4th. Since your occupied with the car infront of you, you accidently drop it to 2nd. I did it on my GSR by accident once, luckly i realized before i let the clutch out. But if i was in a rush, I would have had problems.

I guess money might not matter to them.

Was he new to manual?
