yeah, maybe. yer prolly the first guy here to lower his ef...
really, the suggestions before were good, and a quick search will give you all the info you need.
eibach prokits are a great dd spring. progress are also good- i used them for many years. never used neuspeed but have hard good things. the gc setup is very well proven, and i have used those for quite a few years too. you can choose spring rates based on your application (and get new springs if you decide to do something else later).
you really should look at buying springs and shocks at the same time, as your oem shocks won't hold up long, and won't give you very good results while they are there. koni yellows are worth the extra money. tokico blues are cheap as cheap, and are ok if you are seriously on a budget. tokico 5-ways are a good shock, but at that point i'd pay the little extra for the konis.
what are you going to do with the car, and what do you want to spend?

i typed three responses to this and deleted them because they all sounded too harsh, but are you serious? tiens springs suck. period. and don't even get me started on their shocks...
their entry level stuff is terrible. and as far as the fashion statement- keep your green shocks in the closet with your green seatbelts.
man, i don't get it. 2 threads over people are bitching that a well-designed product costs more. here, they're advocating trendy, poorly designed, overpriced parts as "function over fashion".

Come to your own conclusions, Im not sayin that because the price of teins is higher, im saying this off expeirecne. I have had cheap *** ****, neuspeeds, eibachs and teins as far as lowering springs go, out of those, the nuespeeds and teins are great, but you have slightly more drivability with teins.
gutted, I'm really pleased with my H&R Sport springs. Just under 2" lower, not extreme by any means. I don't have to weave figure 8's in the gas station to avoid those elevated fill caps, but the handling is noticeably improved. And they ride well, not jarring at all.
Probably not edgy enough if you're going auto-xing or something, but great for everyday driving. And the front/rear height comparison (if you know what I mean)is perfect IMO.

i only speak from experience. if you like sagging and rusting after a couple years, go for the green bling.
bring your "cheap *** ****", but i assure you, the spring machine that eibach uses is superior.

not meaning to steal your thread, but need a suggestion. 90crx, $450 as of right now, do you think i should look into shock/spring combo slightly used, or just wait and save up extra for the omni power coilovers(its a daily driven car with auto x on certain weekends.
Get the omnipowers. Itll be easier to install then the shock/spring combos. Im rocking GC and Koni Yellows (very nice but a tad pricey.) All in all, if you want handling go with the two above.
If you want driveability go for the tein's s-tech or some other progressive spring (Progress or Intrax?)
Have fun! Remember your shocks can only take so much before they get blown.
