I ordered these on Tuesday and they are already here on Friday...great service from Revolutions Motorsports ...but no lug nuts. I'll have to call them today about it.

I ordered the Falken Azenis 205/50 tires from a local Discount Tire..they had 2 in stock but had to get the other 2 from Cali...so Im still waiting on those.

How much did you pay for your Slipstreams? Were they suppose to come with lugnuts? Buy yourself some lightweight, black Kyokugen (sp) ones.

I really don't know much about the Falken Azenis. Can someone please tell me what these tires are intended for? Street? AutoX? Roadcourse? How do they compare with others?

i just got some generic acorn lugs from discount tire- they were $1 a pop

 

I got the wheels for $411 shipped and they were suppose to come with those Kyugen (sp?) lug nuts.

Tires are suppose to be bad *** for street, track , whatever.

 

Ahh.. I like it with my VOLK black...
but it is a bit funny.. I mean, the Lugnuts Cost 1.5 x a Rota wheel..
oh well.. what I need is a black brake caliper.. and my R got black boot

The Kyokugen lugnuts don't come with the rims alone, you had to buy the entire tires/rims package.

I had no idea Revolutions was ever selling kyokugens with their wheel, esp. not for the $411 price. i would call them back and see what the confusion was all about.

IMO ... stay away from the Kyokugen Lug Nuts ... I have had at least five of them stripped!!! Lightweight ... but poor quality.

I think I got mine for 50 or 55 shipped.. i usually never use them though.

Nope. Just get some Gorilla acorn style ones from discount auto parts or something. That's all I use.

$145 for the lug nuts. $411 for the wheel.
A set of lug nuts that is 35% of the total cost of the wheel. Those lug nuts must be made of GOLD or something.

 

I can't justify putting 145$ lugnuts on an 85$ rim. Just if you get kyokugens, follow the instructions and don't use an air wrench. And when you take your car to the tireshop to fix a flat, make sure they don't interpret your instructions not to use an air wrench as instructions not to tighten them at all so when you leave your wheel wobbles all over the place and siezes one of the nuts such that you twist the wheel stud off trying to take the wheel off to bleed your brakes, not that I know anything about that.

The Slipstreams use a tapered seat rather than the acorn-style of the factory wheels. "Tuner-style" tapered lugs should be used, such as Rays/Volk, Kyokugen, Spoon, etc.

 

ACORN nuts dont work with the 90 degree included angle seat of the ROTAs.

i ordered kyokugens from the groupbuy from nrg racing, still waiting for them to arrive, i ordered on 1-12 and here it is on 2-2.

 

hrmm...my kyokugen lug nuts are still in perfect condition. rotated my tires like 4 times already. Were u using an impact wrench or something?

i ordered a package from machiii and they said they would have to ship the lugs seperatly upon arrival....

 

About the Azenis' i have the 205/50/15s on my car for roughly a week now. These are the stickiest tire that i have ever had on my car. I went to Deals Gap on them, and could NOT get them to break loose, they don't even squeal like a normal street tire Ill compare them to AO32Rs this weekend when i go back there tomorrow w/ them on.
