Ok my question is, whats the difference if there is any and are there really as much gains from this as it says? Also as of now I'm running an AEM CAI and its really loud upon Vtec engagement.... Are the J's or Passwords as loud? Thanks guys.....
From what i have heard, yes it is pretty loud, but, as far as gains go, it is ONLY an intake, if you are paying a pretty penny to upgrade to the j's, then i would stay with the aem, as your gains will most likly not be that great.
id go with password on this one if you're adamant about going with.... nevermind the password intake doesnt fit on your R's because of the ABS system. So you have to get buttraped for the J's
Got my J's Racing intake for $250 shipped new. I love it. Makes the shhhhhhhh sound at idling which I'm not too fond of. VTEC is kind of loud. Deep rumble at WOT.

From where?!
I don't think Password realizes how many of their CF Chamber intakes they'd sell if they made them to fit ABS-equipped DC's...

They all blow. Ask almost any good tuner and they'll explain why. I personally saw a filter on the end of a 3" hose do about as good as the way overpriced intake J's yesterday.
If you want cf bling, which is what I want
.....go for it. If you want power for the buck, keep your AEM.

Tehe J's intake is a great one. Excellent throttle response and a mean sound. Not as loud as the AEM, IMO, but it does roar in VTEC. I would recommend it whole-heartedly. I may have a hard time selling it when the time comes for me to rock the Mugen piece.
