Default energy suspension bushings rear lca install

I have already pressed out the oem bushings and the outer sleeve and have installed the energy suspension bushings on the lca(not including the strut bushing). I have the oem bolts that fit snugly in the oem bushing sleeves. The Energy suspension bushing inner sleeves have a larger diameter, and the oem bolts do not fit properly. I searched and found a quick mention from someone about the necessary bolt being listed in the directions... It is not listed in the directions I got in the box. Does anyone know the size and width of the necessary bolt? I can go to the hardware store and find something that works if I have to, that's no problem, but is that the way it normally goes or am I missing some key info here?

Also, I guess its pretty much a given that I have to use a tap on the nuts that are welded onto the chassis brackets that the lca fits into, since I'm getting larger bolts.

Is this issue a normal issue with susp bushing installs?? I have double checked part # according to Energy suspension themselves(http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/acura.html). The part # listed on the box I received is the right part #. Assuming the contents of the bag inside the box are right, then I have what I'm supposed to have.

car is a 91 integra ls.

let me ask it in a more straightforward way:

has anyone else installed energy suspension rear LCA bushings and found that the oem bolts do not fit as snug in the aftermarket bushings as they did in the oem bushings?

I can bolt everything up, but the bolt I have is 10mm wide. The inner hole for the bolt on the energy suspension bushing is like 12 or so, so there's a lot more slop than I'm comfortable with. I can bolt it up, but jesus, this slop is unbelievable. But I'm stuck wondering what possible reason they would have for making the hole larger, which would in turn cause you to have to drill and tap out the welded nuts to accomodate a larger bolt. That just doesn't make sense to me.

wtf

I just installed mine on the rear LCA. ONe on the lower arm ends and one on the shock mount. The bolt snug is ok, I don't think it's sloppy. What is your energy suspension part #?

Take a look here:

yeah i verified there. part# on the box and part# on that site is the same. 16-3109

I went ahead and reinstalled the lca just now with the bolts I thought were sloppy. Once you torque the bolts down it doesn't seem to be an issue.

thanks

.. now to figure out what shocks to get.

you don't happen to have the stock ride height measurement by any chance do you?

make sure you are using the correct inner sleeves on the bushing. i know the kit comes with like 3 different size sleeves.

my kit is only the 4 bushings for each end of both rear lca's. The sleeves were all the same size.

I get what you're saying, but i think you're talking about the kit for the whole car... ?
