We just recieved one of the new race boxes 4 weeks ago for our T4 car....Just wanted to fill people in on this killer box....Everyone thinks its just a couple extra inputs and outputs and has a UEGO......

It will run High and low impedance injectors with no programming or wire changes.....

Can configure the type of pickup through the use of dipswitches....

Can control 2 UEGOs...good for V6's V8's...

Itll drive 5 coils

10 injectors plus 2 that pulse when 9 and 10 fire....

Its not plug and play though...lol....Im tired of using the 30-1040 in custom applications and trying to dig up harness to cut up....now you can make your own harness....(I do these alot....so this box is an Angel from heavan for me....)

That is a really nice unit with alot of features.

 

Is this unit another option AEM has instead of their existing EMS system? or is it something that goes along with their EMS they have now?

whats the price difference between the standard boxes..?

 

From the cost of the box alone...I think youll be in the 2400 range....our price sheets still dont have any numbers for it yet....

This was needed a long time ago though, i had to convert a 1020 box to use. It sucks sorting though all the wires in the factory harness just to get to the basics that you need.
