It says right there in the first pic that it's an Airesearch turbo. It's a .60 a/r compressor, however I count 6 fan blades. The T04E 60 trim .60 a/r I have in my living room has 7 fan blades.

ok, I did a search and now I'm not so sure what compressor I HAVE. I'm reading that the T04E has 6 blades and a T04B has 7 blades.

I thought that "M24" was an old T3 designation?

definitely a t04e.... the new garret t04e wheels have 6 blades... as far as the trim, pull the housing and measure the inducer and exducer

the .48 would give you quicker spool, but the .63 would offer better top end. both housings will get you 300hp... the .48 will offer more torque down low, but it will take more psi to reach your power goal..

the .63 will suffer a little bit more on the low end, but it would more than make up for it on the top end

i am sooo confused.

i made a thread with this turbo specs and i asked if it could do 300-350whp and everyone freaked out. saying iwas dumb becouse it was too small...
but if it can handle that to the crank why all the hate?
good spool up, max 8k redline.

wouldnt this turbo be perfect?

it woul be perfect... but to acheieve the higher numbers (400) it takes high psi numbers... 18 psi. (assuming 100%ve) would get you to 400whp with this turbo, but our motors arent that efficient

so basically, to get to 300ish whp it would require way too much boost for pump gas?

i want a daily driveable 92 octane b16 with good spool with 300ish whp.

i guess 18psi wouldnt be feasalbe with 92 octane and hondata..

well, you wouldnt need 400, plus i would run that on a stock block... ignition timing would kill that motor.

for your power goals this turbo would be fine, not too laggy and you could accomplish your power goals on pump just fine

I have a turboneticst3/t4 w/ .48 exhaust and 60 compressor on built b18c block (9:1) and on a mustang dyno I got:
10psi = 265whp
15psi = 309whp
19psi = 331whp
hope this helps

Up to 15 psi was pump, and for the 19psi we tried c116. I should also add that the race gas pull (331whp) was on an earlier tuning day when i still had a 2.5" down pipe. With the smaller downpipe I only managed 293whp @ 15psi.
When I came back to the dyno with my bigger downpipe (3") I hit 309whp @ 15psi and started to have misfire issues when we tried to go past 18psi (I wonder if it wasn't an actual misfire, but by blitz dd bov not holding over 18psi due to me not having the upgraded spring yet, but I digress...)
