I've dug up a couple of reviews, but no one really seems to have actually tried these out. At $100 (~$10 shipping), I guess it's not that big of a deal, but I just wanted to know how these performed in the heat. Thanks.

New Enough rocks. They have awesome customer service.

The Meteor jacket is nice. It's a bit snug on the collar/neck area. But, I'm fat, so I have no neck.

 

Actually, I bought sydicate's jacket(ICON TiMax) for a real good price. I'm going to get leather anyway, so I wanted to spend the least $$ as possible. I did order some gloves through newenough and it went really smooth. Very helpful customer service and also fast shipping. from me.

I have tried on the Meteor jacket at a local store. It felt pretty good and the armor is really thick. Although my Timax has less padding, I like it better, since it doesn't feel so bulky.
