Default Upper collum alignment (pics)

Since iI bought this I cannot use my right signal unless I push and hold it... I know the rack only goes in one way and the plastic the same... So I am assuming that I can adjust the upper portion to straiten this... anyone know how or is it something else? You can see the gap is bigger on the top right and the blinker almost touchs the plastic piece...

thanks guys...

weird. I'd take it apart what you can and put it back together, chances are you'll see what you messed up. If that doesn't work, get a dremel and fix it like a man
