According to long-time friend and MJM Suzuki crew member Richie Alexander, who relayed information given to him by doctors at the University of Alabama – Birmingham (USB) Hospital, Pridmore lost three liters of blood after his accident and could have died within 30 minutes without emergency surgery.
Pridmore, who was released from UAB Hospital today, will be out two months mainly due to the 12-inch, vertical incision doctors had to make in Pridmore’s abdomen to remove his ruptured spleen. Alexander said doctors had to make the incision that large because Pridmore’s abdominal muscles were so tight, and that they actually had to cut through some of the muscles to access his ruptured spleen. </TD></TR></TABLE>
It's really to bad because I really thought he had a shot at winning the superstock title this year.

Damn that is such an unfair break for Pridmore. Why couldn't that have happened to an ******* like Aaron Yates or something
Pridmore has had some bad luck and here he was in position to mix it up with the factory boys. Hope he has a quick recover and can come back and be quick again right away.

Richie had Jason's helmet from the accident in his shop a good bit of rash on the back from where his head smacked the pavement. Cool *** Jordan paint scheme though
It kicks *** to go into your local shop and see stuff like that laying around and tommy hayden's leathers hanging off the wall. Not to mention how cool it is to have someone as fast as Richie around to ask dumb questions too

Ouch. I saw that crash and it wasn't pretty. He went head over heels a couple times and plowed through the gravel.
I didn't realize the severity though.
Hope everything goes well in the healing process and he's back out there soon.
