Anyone make a larger Dia. than OEM rear sway bar?
I have a 1990 CRX Si and am looking for a LARGE diameter rear sway bar. NOT a strut stiffener! Anyone know about any aftermarket companies that list such a thing, or a company that would fabricate one (such as the old Saner one out of Florida)?
Does it have to be aftermarket or would you like to use an OEM? The Sedan 90-93 Integra had a 15.9mm sway to my knowledge, or 15.7. Either way, bigger then stock.
I'm sorry - let me explain ...
My purpose is to try to eliminate body roll in fast corners. I race at Road America, a 4.3 mile track, so there are long straights, meaning high speeds entering corners. It has taken me 5 years to arrive at a suitable braking system, now I need to concentrate on polor moment of inertia and roll rates. OEM bars are not adequite. I ideally need large diameter and stiffly-sprung bars to rapidly transfer large amounts of force to the outside wheels in a corner. OEM aint gonna cut it. I have a 'Teg rear bar and its the same Diameter as OEM CRX, so Im looking for some serious-strong sway bars.
Please help...
