hey guys i just wanna know if anyone know the spec on the d16b vtec single cam motor, thanks and how much they run for?

 

No such thing as a D16B, the only thing close was the D15B. They run from H-Motors $435 and have 130hp.

Rise from your doom!

I want to know a little more information about this motor. I’m pretty sure this motor exists from the following research I’ve done. I would like to know engine specs, can someone clarify?

I’ve seen this motor up for sale at http://www.extremejdm.com/detail_d16b.htm

I also cross-referenced the following information from http://honda-vtec.blogspot.com....html which is listing the motor to be from the following…

EG1 - '92 - '95 CRX Esi 2dr = 1.6l SOHC VTEC = D16B
EG5 - '92 - '95 Civic Esi 3dr = 1.6l SOHC VTEC = D16B
EG8/EH9 - '92 - '95 Civic Esi 4dr = 1.6l SOHC VTEC = D16B

 

I found this because I was searching for more info on the D16b. an EF came into my schools auto shop recently and had a D16b in it and i'd never heard of it before so wanted to know a lil more about it.

 

I'm not sure of specs or anything but I can tell all of you SCREWBALLS that this engine DOES exist.....I just saw one with my very own eyes, and I already have it on hold and I'm going to purchase it tomorrow, and swap the block into my EK...Don't tell me this damn thing doesn't exist or that I'm confused and its really a d15B, if thats what you think, you can suck my nuts... I looked at the god damn block and its stamped D16B I'm going to buy it and put it in my car for sure....and I'll even send you fools some pics of the block before I swap it and show you the casting on the block...............................every moron out there keeps telling me "That doesn't exist, there's no such thing." Then why the hell did I just look at the block and read the numbers? I'm sitting there looking at something right in front of me and your telling me it doesn't exist? HMPH!

I know I posted on some ungodly old thread but nobody actually summed anything up....you just left it wide open :O
