Default Should I Contact Honda Factory?

Hi I just purchased a 2005 RSX Type S about a month ago. No I left a deposit in two dealers because I was shopping around and trying to get a good deal. I've decided to go with one dealer and the other dealer agreed on refunding the $500 deposit to my credit card. Now I can't seem to get in contact with the sales guy from that dealer. Seems like he is always trying to avoid me. When I do get through to him he keeps on making excuses like blaming it on his accounting department and other bullshit.

Anyways, should I call Honda Factory and complaing to them. Maybe they can give a call to that Acura dealer and tell them to give me my refund back

Also what is honda factory's phone number?

Thanks

There are laws about refundability of deposits. Google it.

Call your credit card, as long as it's not a debit card you can dispute the charge. Amex is great for doing that.

After you do that, make sure that you relax for a moment cuz refunds to credit cards usually take 2-5 days to clear (debit or regular credit) so if its not there the very next day dont get all bent outta shape... yet.

Where is the technical info? I would have posted this in GDD...but since you posted here I reported it to be moved.

I would go down to the dealer instead of calling him and also contact your credit card so no charges will be placed. With something like them promising to give you your CC deposit back you shuold have gotten something in writing. GL and for the phone numbers http://www.google.com is your friend.
