1.6 SOHC head on 1.5 block???

Do i need to use the 1.5 or 1.6 head gasket...what other gaskets will i need...i already have all manis and accessories from the 1.5...i already bought a complete gasket set for the 1.5...but the head is not useable without major weld work...so i was just gonna slap on a 1.6 head i had laying around...basically...will it bolt right up to the 1.5 block or do i need to do anything...thanks in advance

it is the d16y7 sohc non vtec head....and d15b non vtec block...so am i gonna need a different timing belt as well...i have a couple laying around...what one should i throw on there...all the help is much appriciated...thanks guys

even though its going to sound rude...i dont mean it to...but no ****...who wouldnt use a vtec head if they had it...but like i said...i have a non vtec head ....which means i dont have to buy one...and since a d16y8 head with everything i need to make it work would run me a couple hundred bucks...im just gonna use the one i have...i just wanted to know what head gasket to use and what timing belt to use....thats all...if anybody can tell me this ill be a very happy man

i would use the D16y8 head gasket sorry i did not say that in last post sorry but i though you would know what i was saying but sorry i may be wrong but i dont think i'am so good luck
