Hey guys, what's going on? Well I came home from school today, stopped by my work to pick up my paycheck, and I started my car and I noticed that the check engine light came on. It blinked a few times and then I put it in reverse and it went off, 2 minutes later I tried starting it up again to see if it came on again. Sure enough it did, this time it blinked 10 times and went off. What's ironic about the whole situation is I hit 36,800 miles today. I was wondering whether it may be a service light that comes on for all hondas at a certain mileage or if I should look into it further. The thing I don't get is it blinks and goes off. Contemplating on what to do....

 

sounds to me like you are talking about the maintenance lite ....what year car do you have cause depend on it there are different ways to clear it.,,,, mmm looking at your mileage you must have a newer car in instr cluster on rt lower part there is a button ( reset) put key on acc 2 don;t start car hold reset button for at least 10-15 sec lite will clear
