Default D15Z1 - Throttle body?

Hi!

I just bought a hatcback with the D15z1 engine. Dull performance, but cheap First thing I saw when I popped the hood was how small the piping (dont know what its called, sorry) between the air filter and throttle body was. Are there any hp to gain there? Can I use a throttle body from another engine, like the d16z6 or d15b7? Im just looking for a cheap upgrade that might help out a little, nothing big. Probably going to swap in a couple of years anyway

honestly I wouldn't bother swapping another throttle body on that motor. The
vtec-e motor that you have in that car is designed for fuel economy. In fact at low rpms you are basically using only 8 valves. If its performance you are after I would save the money for the swap.

Okey, kinda figured it out after som reading... Guess I'll be getting a new header in a little while, cause I'll probably going to swap in a D16Z6 when I get the $$$...
