Sparco Seats in an RSX--questions.
I posted this on clubRSX, but I'll try here as well.
In the older Hondas, Sparco sidemount seats with sliders made the seat sit higher than stock. Is this still a problem with the RSX?
I don't really need the sliders as I can fix-mount my EVO's, but the sliders would be nice if it did not make the seat stand too tall. I don't want my helmut to hit the roofliner.

Todd, the side seat mounts will raise it a tad bit more. Not very much maybe a 1/4-1/2 inch higher. I have a OMP WRC bucket seat in my car with the side mounts and sliders and I am good to go. I am 5'10 and I fit fine. With a helmet on I have about 2-3 inches from hitting the roof. If I wanted to lower the seat I could just remove the slidders and bolt to the ground. I keep the sliders thou, its convient when my fiance needs to drive it.
If you are 5'11 or smaller you should be just fine.
Hope that helped.

if u were to remove just the driver seat and go aftermarket, will the airbags work on the passenger side? that goes for the frontal airbag as well as the side airbags

I've read the airbags work fine.</TD></TR></TABLE>
but do you get any SRS lights or anything?
