It's pretty tough to tell, the knock off ones are identical.

 

Who did you get it from.. That should be a sort of indication.. and how much did you pay?

 

Yeah, Who did you get it from? I got ripped off buying a knockoff when I was assured it was real. (For my 98)

i remember a grace han from cali somewhere...took her 4 months to send god damn itr intake cams....
finally got it after 4 months of harassing and poo poo...what an ***

 

Yeah, she sucks. She assured me that she was selling me an authentic OEM ITR shift **** out of her 2000 ITR. She shipped me a knock off for $90. Man, did I take a bath on that one. $90 for a $20 peice of crap. I don't wish any harm on many people especially ITR owners, but if she really owns a PY ITR, I hope someone breaks all of the glass on that beeatches car and even drops a load on her seats.

The real difference is that the fake is lighter in color + the material is not smooth at all. You know if you have a fake or not just by holding it in your hand. I sold real one for only $85 bucks. Why u ask because if i charge any higher why not get a Mugen or Spoon or any other shiftknob out there.

 

ok mine is almost like a grayish color and very smooth. but someone mentioned earlier that it came with a black lock nut. mine is silver?? someone verify this please. i got it in atrade for somethings

 

feel it. it should be really really heavy for a shift ****. i'll take some more good detailed pics but unless u feel it, u can't really tell...

 

im almost positive this is real. yeah its pretty heavy and extremeley smooth
