I did a search and couldnt find anything. Spoon/Vision Mirrors question

Hey I did a search and came up empty handed. I remember someone a while ago saying you could buy the knock off spoon/vision mirrors for an EG and make them work on the EF Hatchbacks? Anyone have the info on how to do it?
