Best ECU to run with ZC DOHC?

Default Best ECU to run with ZC DOHC?

I haven't had a ZC in awhile I thought I heard that the 89 Integ ECU was the best but not sure???? cause I'm starting a new ZC project and I have a 89 Integ ecu.
Any pro's con's??? TIA Rob

89 integra is a good choice but it may run the zc a tad rich. The PM7 ecu is the best choice since it was designed for the zc. The pm6 will run the zc but on the lean side of the afr. The PR4 ecu will also work as well.

But since you have the 89 integra ecu I would go ahead and use it.

I've been running the 89 teg ecu for a while now on my zc and it runs great. still get good gas mileage too.

Do you know about how many miles per gallon you get... People say the 88-89 teg one makes it run rich ive never seen that problem either i plan on going with that one because the actual ZC ecu has a low low speed limit cut off

im running a DOHC ZC on a PG7 and im checking my gas milage now. ill let you know exact when i go empty.

I've personally have had both, and I would recommend the PM7 anyday other the PG7. Just my 2 cents.

I ahad an 89 teg ecu running my zc years ago, worked great, no problems runing rich.

Freinds have tried zc ecu's before, but got check engine lights due the different ELD (electric load detaector) from jdm to usdm cars.

Well I guess it's better to run alittle rich caus ewhen you start adding header exhaust in will lean out abit. Thanks guys! Rob
